Subsurface Soil and Groundwater Assessment

Project Situation:
A subsurface soil and groundwater assessment was performed at a gasoline service station prior to the sale of the property.
Project Outcome:
Whatcom Environmental performed a subsurface soil and groundwater assessment at the site using a hydraulic push drill rig. The assessment revealed the existence of soil and groundwater contamination on a portion of the service station property. Whatcom Environmental returned to the site with a hollow-stem auger drill rig to install groundwater monitoring wells and a vapor extraction/air sparge system. The site is currently being remediated using an air sparge system.
