The Permit Application provided information required by Ecology in order to grant a Permit for post-closure care of the land treatment facility and continued storage of dangerous waste at the container storage area. The Permit Application met the requirements of WAC 173-303-806 and 40 CFR Subpart B. Information compiled and presented by Whatcom Environmental included a description of the following: general description of the facility, security and equipment, inspection requirements, preparedness and prevention, contingency plan, personnel training, closure/post-closure plan, closure notices, closure cost estimate, financial assurance, topographic map, hydrogeologic characterization including a description of the uppermost aquifer and a presentation of groundwater monitoring data.
